Cambodia’s flagship 132-hectare multimodal logistics and industrial complex is designed to strengthen manufacturing supply chains, improve cargo flows and support long-term regional trade connectivity and sustainability.
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia, 31 August 2026 — Cambodia is set to mark a historic milestone in regional trade and industrial infrastructure with the official groundbreaking of the Cambodia SuperPort® (Phnom Penh Logistics & Industrial Complex – PPLC), developed as a joint venture between Singapore’s leading supply chain solutions provider, YCH Group, and Cambodian conglomerate WorldBridge Group.
Commemorating over 60 years of diplomatic relations between Cambodia and Singapore, the project reflects strong bilateral cooperation and a shared commitment to strengthening Cambodia’s role in regional and global supply chains.
The Cambodia SuperPort® is being developed as an integrated logistics and industrial park that brings together industrial plots, ready-built factories, warehousing, bonded logistics, planned customs-related capabilities and cargo-handling capabilities within one master-planned estate.
The project is designed not only to expand physical infrastructure, but also to support the consolidation and movement of existing and future manufacturing cargo flows through a more efficient, connected and reliable logistics ecosystem. By bringing production, storage, customs and cargo movement closer together, the Cambodia SuperPort® aims to reduce logistics friction, improve supply chain visibility and help manufacturers access international markets more effectively.

STRATEGIC REGIONAL CONNECTIVITY
A flagship initiative under Cambodia’s Comprehensive Intermodal Transport and Logistics System (CITLS) Master Plan 2023-2033 and the ASEAN Smart Logistics Network (ASLN), the Cambodia SuperPort® (PPLC) is designed to address critical regional infrastructure gaps and strengthen supply chain resilience across Southeast Asia.
Slated to commence construction in January 2027, this US$300 million, 132-hectare investment in Phnom Penh is built for scale, with a planned full-capacity handling capability of approximately 2,000 TEUs per day. As a multimodal logistics and industrial hub integrating land and sea transport, the complex will offer direct expressway connectivity to the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port (PAS) and strategic proximity to Cambodia’s major trade routes.
Beyond connectivity, the project’s core value lies in its integrated “Park-in-a-Park” model. Industrial tenants will be able to locate manufacturing, warehousing and logistics activities within a single estate, supported by bonded facilities, inland container depot capabilities, container freight station services and planned customs-related processes. This is intended to help companies shorten cargo movement, reduce operational complexity and improve reliability across import and export flows.
As Cambodia continues to attract manufacturing investment across sectors such as electronics, garments, e-commerce and advanced manufacturing, the Cambodia SuperPort® is positioned to support the country’s next phase of industrial growth. By connecting domestic industrial and economic zones with international maritime markets, the SuperPort® will reinforce Cambodia’s role as a vital link in regional and global supply chains.
SMART LOGISTICS AND SUSTAINABLE INFRASTRUCTURE
As part of YCH Group’s interconnected regional network of logistics hubs, which includes Vietnam SuperPort® and Supply Chain City® in Singapore and Malaysia, the Cambodia SuperPort® will deploy proprietary smart supply chain management technologies to support real-time trade visibility, operational coordination and customer service.
The digital backbone of the complex is expected to support warehouse operations, cargo handling, inland container depot activities, customs-related documentation and customer visibility across the logistics flow. These capabilities will help manufacturers and logistics users manage cargo movement more effectively across regional supply chains.
The logistics and industrial complex is expected to incorporate sustainability features, including renewable energy, energy-efficient systems and digital tools to reduce its environmental impact. Its design will promote the efficient use of energy, water and other resources, supporting Cambodia’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
FUTURE-READY HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT
In addition to physical and digital infrastructure, the project places strong emphasis on local talent development. Preliminary assessments estimate a peak workforce of approximately 500 persons during the construction phase, of whom about 80% are expected to be Cambodian, expanding to a peak operational workforce of up to 20,000 as the project scales during the operational phase.
Through structured partnerships with the Supply Chain and Logistics Academy (SCALA) and YCH’s signature EduRise Programme, the Cambodia SuperPort® will provide targeted training programmes to upskill local talent. This will support the development of a Cambodian workforce capable of operating a modern, digitalised and integrated supply chain ecosystem.
