Leading players of the regional supply chain industry convened at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel on 9 and 10 September for 2015’s iteration of the Supply Chain Asia Forum. With manpower being a challenge for the foreseeable future, the theme aptly revolved around the rise of robotics. Coinciding with the tenth anniversary of Supply Chain Asia, the forum was attended by more than 900 individuals.

Founding Chairman of Supply Chain Asia Dr Robert Yap delivered the opening address for the forum, reiterating the importance of leveraging on automation and technology in view of the labour crunch increasingly being faced by many of the world’s economies.

Various industry leaders were invited to speak at the two day event to share their insights. Mr Robert Yap MC, Deputy Chairman and Executive Director of Y3 Technologies, also participated in the panel discussion, providing his views on the role of real-time analytics in unlocking the potential of big data which. Attendees were also granted the opportunity to network with major players of the industry in the adjourning exhibition hall.
