The IE-STEE-SCI-YCH annual networking golf and dinner was held on 24 July 2015 at the Singapore Island Country Club, with a total of 64 golfers participating this year. Co-sponsored by IE Singapore, ST Electronics, Sembcorp, and YCH Group, the annual affair aims to solidify friendships and provide networking opportunities amongst representatives of the company. The guest of honor for the event was Mr Soo Kok Leng, chairman of ST Electronics’ Board of Directors.

The golf session was followed by a hearty dinner preceded by a cocktail in the Windows on Bukit room overlooking the club’s golf courses. As guests mingled amongst each other, Mr Soo gave a lively speech that set the tone for a fun filled evening, signaling the start of dinner comprising the annual tradition of Teochew porridge.

Dinner was followed by a prize presentation ceremony which saw reigning champions, ST Electronics, beating out the competition to emerge overall champion for the second consecutive through a commendable effort. The night culminated in a lucky draw which saw every attendee return home with a gift to remember the event by, with some 25 lucky winners walking away with premium prizes which included the latest Samsung Galaxy S6.
