ASEAN-BIS: One ASEAN at the heart of Dynamic Asia


YCH participated in the annual ASEAN Business & Investment Summit (ASEAN-BIS) held at Suntec Singapore from 16 to 18 Nov 2007. Our Chairman & CEO Dr. Robert Yap launched the high-profile event with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the ASEAN-BIS in his capacity as Chairman of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council this year.
Attended by more than 900 delegates from the ASEAN region, the ASEAN-BIS was an exciting and successful event that offered key economic insights by regional heads of government and fostered an environment for strengthening regional collaboration opportunities.

ASEAN-BIS Gala Dinner

A gala dinner was held to conclude the success of the ASEAN-BIS events, as well as to present the inaugural ASEAN Business Awards to the �Most Admired ASEAN Enterprise� in the four categories of Growth, Employment, Innovation and Corporate Social Responsibility. The ASEAN Business Awards also commemorated the 40th anniversary of ASEAN.
