YCH forges ahead as Best 'Asian 3PL of the Year'

Singapore, 13th November, 2009 - Leading Singapore-based logistics and supply chain management company YCH Group has won the Supply Chain Asia Logistics Awards� �Asian 3PL of the Year� for the 3rd consecutive year. Held at Singapore�s Raffles Town Club yesterday, the annual Supply Chain Asia (SCA) Logistics Awards honoured the best in the logistics industry.
The award reaffirms YCH�s position as a leading supply chain solutions provider with distinct forte and expertise in the Asia Pacific region, and showcases its continued commitment to supply chain excellence in Asia.
This year, YCH Group beat out various competitors in its category despite a stringent set of judging criteria such as the ability to collaborate well with clients; the range of specialized services on offer; size and scale of transport and warehouse network; IT capabilities; level of local knowledge in developing the Asian market; degree of security and risk management, and cost competitiveness of services.

Additionally, what was different and interesting this year was that two new benchmarks introduced to the judging this year - approach to sustainability and CSR issues, as well as the company�s continuous drive towards innovation to launch and upgrade new products and services to match market demand � also played a huge role in the selection of winners for the award.
