Football is indeed more than just a game at the annual Football With A Heart (FWAH) charity event on 21st May 2016, where 15 of our very own YCHees played for a good cause to raise funds for nine beneficiaries, including CARE United, Disabled People’s Association and President Challenge, amongst others.

In its fourth year running, FWAH is the first football charity fundraiser organised at the national stadium. More than 40 corporate teams came together, raising more than $500,000 as we showed strong committee in using sports for social good. YCH supported the initiative as a Sliver Sponsor as part of our YCH corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme,

Adding to the excitement this year, Spanish football club Valencia CF players, as well as LaLiga Ambassadors made a special appearance as they took part in the Celebrity League, playing alongside Members of Parliament, senior officials from government agencies, Fox Sports commentators and Mediacorp artistes. Led by Mr Teo Ser Luck, Minister of State for Manpower, Team Parliamentarians also included Mr Tan Chuan-Jin, Minister for Social and Family Development and Mr Ong Ye Kung Acting Minister for Education (Higher Education and Skills).
